As we gear up for UFC 253 on September 26, 2020, I have to say that I have the Rock Jam from the early 2000s where Micheal Buffer is saying, “Let’s Get Ready to Rumble!” because frankly, when you look at some of the individuals on this upcoming card, there is no question we are getting ready for some premium matchups. For the main event, we have Israel Adesanya vs. Paulo Costa, and both of these individuals are undefeated, with Adesanya having a 19-0 record and Costa having a 13-0 mark respectively.
However, even without this main event, we still have a number of marquee matchups that should make this a solid UFC event. We have Dominick Reyes vs. Jan Blachowicz in the co-main event, as well as Hakeem Dawodu vs. Zubaira Tukhugov in the main card. Rounding up the top match-ups, we also have Kai Kara-France vs. Brandon Royval and we have a solid female matchup consisting of Claudia Gadelha vs. Xiaonan Yan. This should be a UFC bout for the ages.
Who is the headliner of the UFC 253 main event?
Israel Adesanya (19-0) vs. Paulo Costa (13-0) is set for the main event of UFC 253 but the location has not yet to be announced.

UFC 253 main event odds
Adesanya -170 vs. Costa +145
Costa will put up a valiant fight, but Adesanya has a lot of skill and it will just be too much for him. I predict that Adesanya will win by TKO in three rounds or less.
This UFC matchup is definitely something to be looking forward to, especially in this day and age of diminished sporting contests due to COVID-19. Even if you aren’t into the fighters on the main bout, there are plenty of other matchups that you can take in.
